What We Believe
Read the Baptist Faith and Message.

About God...

We believe in one true and living God, and that there are three Persons in the God head—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Ephesians 2:11-18; 2 Corinthians 13:14.

About the Bible...

We believe the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God and the only rule of faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21.

About Salvation...

We believe man cannot save his own soul; he is saved by grace through faith. John 3:16; Hebrews 7:25-27; Ephesians 1; 1 Peter 1:18-21; Ephesians 2:8-9.

We believe that salvation eternally secures the soul of a believer where by nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 1:6; Philippians 2:12-13; John 10:26-28; Romans 8:28-39.

About Baptism...

We believe that baptism is one of two New Testament ordinances. Believer’s baptism is by immersion.  Matthew 3:13-17; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:38.

About the Lord's Supper or communion...

We believe that the Lord’s Supper is one of two New Testament ordinances; that it is a memorial supper; and that we are to observe it in remembrance of the broken body of Jesus Christ.  Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:26-29.

About Heaven and Hell...

We believe the punishment of the lost will be everlasting separation from God, and the joy of the saved will be to eternally be in the presence of God.  2 Thessalonians 1:4-9; Revelation 20:11-15; Matthew 25:46.

Who is Jesus Christ?

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son,
so that everyone who believes in Him
will not perish but have eternal life.
-John 3:16

You are the object of God’s love and He has a great plan for your life.

...for I came that you may have life.
-John 10:10

Jesus gave this great promise… "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" [that it might be full and meaningful] (John 10:10)

An abundant life means one that is full and meaningful. Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life? Because...
