Pre-K 3 Teacher
Analyn was raised in the tobacco fields 1,591 miles east of Park City, Utah. In 2014, she graduated from Carson-Newman University in East Tennessee with a degree in Child and Family Studies. In December 2014, seeking adventure and change, she moved to Park City, UT to work at a ski resort! They have a saying there: “the winter brings you, but the summer keeps you,” and that held true for her. She lived in Utah for three years teaching four to thirteen-year olds how to ski in the winter to helping run an adventure camp for children in the summer!
In the fall of 2017, she felt the desire to come home. Though she misses the adventures of Utah every day, she missed her family more; and having 5 nieces and nephews is always an adventure in itself! After moving back home, she got a position as a teacher for Early Head Start working with two and three-year-olds, but when she heard of Grace Baptist Academy opening this fall she knew, without a doubt, it was where she was called to be!
Needless to say, wherever she has been, working with children has always been her niche. She is so excited to get to love on and pour into these children, and she cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for her future and Grace Baptist Academy!
