Christen McGahey
Kindergarten Teacher

Christen has lived in Cedar Hill, TN nearly her entire life.  She graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (k-6).  She has taught kindergarten at Pegram Elementary in Cheatham County for 2 years, and then taught kindergarten at Crestview Elementary in Robertson County for 4 years.   Christen is married to Jonathan McGahey.  They have two children, Twila (5) and Finley (3) who are both students at GBA.   Christen and Jonathan are members at Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Christen is passionate about the women’s ministry there and serves on the leadership team. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.  Christen loves teaching at Grace Baptist Academy where she can teach the Bible in all subjects and tell her students how much God loves them.
