Deacons

Deacons are chosen by the congregation to serve the congregation. In fact the word "deacon" literally means "servant." While it's honorable to be asked to serve as a deacon, it's a place of service more than a position of honor.

Each active deacon within our Deacon Body manages twenty five (25) active church family units. A "unit" consists of a single person, a married couple, or a family with children. It is the responsibility of each deacon to communicate with their family unit and provide ministry at the direction of the Holy Spirit.
