Bro. Derek was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. After graduating from the University of Alabama, Bro. Derek attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and obtained an MDiv. Bro. Derek and his wife Lindsay have been married for 3 years and have two children. Derek has a passion for teaching people about the word of God and helping develop their spiritual lives. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family, and finding new places to eat.
