Life long resident of Robertson County. I attended Robertson County Public Schools K-12. I am married to Daniel Givens. We have two children, Nicholas and Everleigh. Nicholas is a student at GBA. We are members of Grace Baptist Church. When not teaching school I enjoy swimming, going to the beach, and watching movies with my family. One of my favorite things to do is watch my son play baseball.  I earned a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Cumberland University and currently hold a TN Registered Nurse License. I have worked as a registered nurse for 13 years. I have worked in the hospital, outpatient clinic, and school health program.  I completed my Elementary Education Teaching Certification at Welch College.  I have teaching experiencing in the public and private education systems. I have volunteered with Junior Achievement to provide economics education to elementary age children in the public school system.  I have served on my church’s Vacation Bible School committee and currently serve in our children’s ministry program.
