How Do I Become a Member?
It is our sincere hope that you will prayerfully consider becoming a part of Grace Baptist Church. We invite you to talk with Bro. Steve or any of our Staff about church membership.
You may join our church by one of three ways:
Profession of Faith and Baptism
If you have never received Jesus as Savior and Lord and/or never publicly confessed Him through baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as your public confession of faith, you will be given an opportunity to do so. After your decision has been confirmed, an appointment will be made for your baptism at Grace.
Transfer of letter from another Southern Baptist Church
If you are currently a member of another Southern Baptist Church, we will receive you as a member upon promise of a letter from that church. Grace will contact that church to notify them of your decision and request your letter.
Statement of Faith
If you know in your heart that you have previously experienced salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus, we will be happy to receive you on your statement of faith. It will be necessary for you to be baptized at Grace if you have never been baptized by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as your public confession of faith, or if you were baptized in a church that holds a different view of salvation and baptism than Grace.
